All About Renovations Is Haliburton County's Best-Kept Secret. Let's Fix That.
Thirty years of work. Billboards on Highway 118. Booked into 2027. And almost invisible to anyone who doesn't already know your name.
A professional website built to show the operation you actually run, so Google, AI tools, and every homeowner searching for a Haliburton contractor can finally find you.
Prepared for Tim Seles, All About Renovations & Concrete
June 2, 2026
Tim,
Thanks for reaching out through Matt Laframboise, and for taking the call right before I left for my daughter's wedding in Europe. Thirty years in the trade, full time now, booked into next year, with billboards on Highway 118 between Carnarvon and Haliburton doing real work for you. That is a serious operation. You said it plainly on the call: you are not hurting for work. You just want to "get your name out there more" and get the website "spruced up."
A few days later I sent you a one-line challenge: open ChatGPT and ask it who the best contractor in Haliburton County is. You wrote back four words:
"Lol your right I don't Exist."
That is the whole thing, right there. Not the work. Not the reputation. Not the demand. Everyone in Haliburton County who already knows you, knows you. Everyone who doesn't, cannot find you. The cottager Googling a contractor before they drive up Friday night, the homeowner in a local Facebook group asking "anyone know a good builder," the person asking ChatGPT for a recommendation: to all of them, you genuinely do not exist yet.
A website doesn't create demand by itself, but it creates the ability to convert demand. Without one, you don't stand a chance to be found.
Here is what I am proposing, and it matches exactly what you asked for. One professional website that shows up when people search, gets recognized by AI tools, and finally puts the real All About Renovations online: the custom homes, the additions, the garages, the industrial builds, and the concrete. One thing. One step. You own it. No monthly anything.
You did not build a reputation over thirty years to stay a secret. The work is real, the demand is real, the billboards prove people respond. The only thing missing is the version of all of it that lives online, where the next thirty years of customers are already looking.

What I Found On Your Current Site
I pulled up allaboutrenovations.ca and went through it page by page. Here it is in plain language.
The single biggest problem: your website describes a smaller business than the one you actually run. The site lists kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations. On our call you told me you build custom homes, additions, garages, and industrial units, plus concrete. Your highest-value services are not on your website at all. A homeowner shopping for an addition or a custom build reads your site and concludes you don't do that kind of work. They call someone else.
Structure & content
- Six pages only. Home, Renovations, Concrete, Projects, About, Contact. No dedicated page per service. No location pages. No FAQ. No reviews page.
- Your money services are missing. Custom home builds, additions, garage construction, industrial and commercial builds. The jobs paying for the billboards and filling your 2027 calendar are nowhere on the site.
- Concrete is in the menu but never explained. A customer cannot actually read about what you do.
- No service-area pages. The site says "Haliburton, Ontario" generically. Nothing for Carnarvon, Minden, Algonquin Highlands, Dorset, or the other towns you work in. Google has nothing local to rank.
- No reviews, no testimonials, no social links. Thirty years of word of mouth, none of it visible to a first-time visitor.
Findability & trust
- AI search does not know you exist. You proved this one yourself. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity who builds custom homes in Haliburton County, and your name does not come up.
- No local SEO foundation. No schema, no llms.txt, no structured data telling Google and AI what you do and where.
- Dated design. A 2010s-era layout with stock imagery. A cottager from Toronto comparing your site to a competitor's picks the competitor on visual trust alone, before reading a single word.
- No clear path to contact. No quote form on the homepage, no business hours, no street address for Google to verify you as a real local business.
The summary in one sentence: you have a six-page placeholder that describes a smaller business than you run, hides your highest-margin work, has no local SEO and no AI search readiness, and gives a visitor no reason to trust you over the next guy. It is not the cause of your success. It is the cap on it. Until it changes, the ceiling stays where it is.
The Website: A Professional 24-Page Build
This is the whole job. One website that finally shows every service you offer, ranks in the towns you actually work in, and is built from the ground up to be read by both Google and AI tools. Hand-coded, fast, and yours to keep.
Core Pages
- Home. The real All About Renovations in the first five seconds: custom homes, additions, garages, industrial builds, concrete. Built to load fast and convert the visitor into a call or a quote request.
- About. Thirty years, full time now, the billboards, the reputation. The story that turns a stranger into someone who trusts you before they pick up the phone.
- Services hub. One page that lays out everything you do and routes visitors to the exact service they need.
- Service Areas hub. Every Haliburton County town you serve, in one place, so Google knows your full footprint.
- Reviews. Your word-of-mouth reputation, finally visible to first-time visitors.
- Contact. Quote form, click-to-call, hours, and address, so there is never more than one tap between a customer and you.
Service Pages (your real work, finally online)
- Custom Home Builds. Your highest-value service, with its own page built to be found and to sell.
- Home Additions. The machine-shop addition you mentioned is exactly the kind of job this page is built to win.
- Garage Construction.
- Industrial & Commercial Builds.
- Concrete. Foundations, flatwork, and finishing, finally explained where a customer can read about it.
- Kitchen Renovations.
- Bathroom Renovations.
- Basement Renovations.
Location Pages
- Haliburton, Minden, Carnarvon, Algonquin Highlands, Dorset, and Highlands East. One page per town, each written to rank locally so the search "contractor in Minden" or "addition builder Carnarvon" has a real chance of landing on you instead of an out-of-area competitor.
Proof & Trust Pages
- Projects gallery. Your strongest asset. Real photos of real builds, organized so a cottager can picture you doing their job.
- FAQ with schema. Answers the questions buyers actually ask, written so Google and AI can lift them directly.
- Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The credibility markers a serious builder's site is expected to have.
Built Into Every Page
- Custom domain and a clean migration from allaboutrenovations.ca with zero downtime. Old site stays live until the new one is ready.
- Lightning-fast loading. Static hand-coded HTML, no WordPress, no plugins to break.
- Mobile-responsive design that looks sharp on the phone where most of your visitors will land.
- SEO foundation: title tags, meta descriptions, and schema markup on every page.
- AI search optimization for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, including an llms.txt file. This is the work that goes after the exact gap you flagged yourself.
- Quote request form with submissions straight to your email.
- Click-to-call phone number on every page.
- Facebook & Instagram business pages set up the right way, branded, with bio, services, hours, and links back to the site, so you finally have a presence in the groups where people are asking for a contractor.
- Google Business Profile guidance. I walk you through getting yours verified and optimized so you show up on the map.
- SSL certificate, XML and HTML sitemaps, and Google Search Console submission.
A Year From Now
The pages matter. The features matter. But none of that is the point. The point is what All About Renovations looks like twelve months from today. Here is what we are actually building toward.
- You exist. Someone Googles "custom home builder Haliburton" or asks ChatGPT the same question you did, and now there is a real, professional answer pointing back at thirty years of your work. The four-word email stops being true.
- Your real business is finally on the page. The custom homes, the additions, the industrial builds, the concrete. A cottager pricing an addition reads your site and sees a builder who clearly does exactly what they need, instead of bouncing because it looked like you only do bathrooms.
- You are in the conversation in the local groups. When someone posts "anyone know a good contractor" in a Haliburton County Facebook group, you have a real page and a real presence to point them to, instead of watching the wrong guy reply.
- The billboards work harder. Right now someone sees the sign on Highway 118, Googles you, and lands on a placeholder. A year from now that same drive-by lands on a site that closes the loop and earns the call.
- You are covered for the day the calendar is not full. You are booked into 2027 today. Markets turn. When that day comes, the difference between a slow month and a full one is whether people could find you before they needed you. This is the insurance policy you build while business is good.
What that's worth: a single addition or custom build in your trade runs well into five and six figures. If this website helps you win even one job over the next year that you would not otherwise have been found for, it has paid for itself many times over. I cannot promise a specific ranking or a specific number of jobs, nobody honest can, because that depends on the market. What I can tell you is that right now you are not in the running at all for anyone who doesn't already know your name. This puts you in the running.

Down The Road
The website is the foundation, and on its own it does the job you asked for: it gets you found and gets your name out there. When you are ready for it to start working while you sleep, there is a natural next step, entirely your call and entirely optional.
The 5-Pillar AI Marketing Engine. Once the site is live, we can layer on the system that answers your missed calls when you are on a job site, captures the people posting in those Facebook groups, automatically asks happy customers for reviews, and re-engages thirty years of past contacts sitting in your phone. It runs in the background and protects the reputation you spent three decades building. That piece runs $997/mo, with no long-term contract, and we only start it when you want it. First things first: let's get you visible online. One step at a time.
Recent Work
Here is a slice of recent client work. About 95% of what I build is in the home services and contracting space, so I understand your industry and what your customers are looking for.
Tim, you spent thirty years building a reputation in Haliburton County the right way, job by job, referral by referral. The reputation is real and the work speaks for itself. The only thing missing is the version of all that work that lives online, so the next thirty years of customers can find you the way the last thirty did. Let's start with the website.
